Colour, movement, warmth. An entry garden that welcomes you with open arms and frames the views beyond.

A new garage construction created an opportunity to redesign an under-utilised space into an inviting entry garden and courtyard for this farmhouse on a hill. Removing an old existing paling fence and pushing the boundary out into the farm yard has brought the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape into the garden, which features a mix of long flowering, tough perennials and ornamental grasses, espaliered crab apples, a herb garden and stone garden edging that was salvaged and reconfigured from the old garden
